DIY Mason Jar Lid

 I had a problem.
Every time I used my mason jar, AKA my favorite drinking glass, I didn't have a lid. Then when I was driving or playing with the kids I would spill my yummy iced coffee. Boo. That's just not OK.
But did you know that the lid to a Parmesan cheese container fits almost any size mason jar...just not the big size, but I'm on it, I just haven't found the right lid yet. Ha!

So enjoy your mason jar glass on the go!
You deserve it.

Good to know. I just dug the parmasean lid out of the trash last week and told the kids "we can do something with this". Great idea.

Awesome idea! I have to steal this idea for my husband who's had several strokes and needs a lidded glass. Sippy cups are too childish. This is perfect and he prefers glass for his cold drinks. Thanks for sharing!

Fantastic idea! I might have to buy that cheese just for the lid! It was touching to read another comment that mentioned that this lid would help her husband who was a stroke victim. I'll have to see if my grandmother would benefit from the same. Found you through Sugar and Dots.
