Dream Catcher // Tutorial

The inspiration for this lovely project came from one of my favorite bands. I have been listening the The Eagles this holiday weekend and thinking about our camping trip to Joshua Tree a few months ago. My outdoorsy state of mind had me thinking of all things magical and beautiful. This dream catcher was something that I longed to make.
You will need:
* The inner hoop of a craft hoop
* White yarn
* Scrap fabric
* Twine
* Scissors
* Glue gun
* Feathers
* Buttons
1. Take a long piece of white yarn and wrap it into a web like design. If your yarn starts to slip use a bit of hot glue to keep it in place.
2. Take a long piece of twin and wrap around the web design. When you make it all the way around your hoop use your glue gun to secure the twine.
3. This is the fun part! Use your beads, feathers and buttons to decorate your dream catcher.
Use a short piece of twine to make a loop to hand your dream catcher.
Happy Dreaming Friends!

This is rad. I also love the Eagles and I love the song Dream Weaver (Gary Wright).

Such a cute dream catcher! I'm definitely going to have to make one of these for my sister... she's obsessed with them. Thanks for the inspiration!

Nifty, what a neat tutorial! My hubby had neighbors growing up who made the most elaborate dream catches, always amazed me. Love your blog...following!!!

April...this is brilliant and so easy. Makes me want to have my nieces over for a craft date.
p.s. the eagles swoon. They remind me of high school. LOVE
