crock pot recipes : stuffed bell peppers

do you like bell peppers? i LOVE them...raw and cooked.
i found this recipe from better recipes, and its seriously yummy!
i ate one stuffed bell pepper and i was stuffed! this recipe would definitely feed an entire family.

you will need:

* 5 green bell peppers
* 1 box of chicken flavored rice mix
* 1 {cup} salsa
* 1 {lb} ground beef
* 1 {cup} shredded cheese
* 1 1/2 {tsp} Worcestershire sauce

1. rinse bell peppers and take core and seeds out
2. brown ground beef
3. mix beef, cheese, chicken flavored rice and Worcestershire sauce in a large bowl
4. spoon mixture into bell peppers
5. set bell peppers upright in crock pot, do not stack or place on their sides
6. top bell peppers with salsa
7. cook on high for 3 hours. i added half a cup of water to the bottom of the crock pot half way through cooking...this made the rice VERY soft and tender.
ENJOY!

this was a hit with my entire family, and there were no leftovers...
that's a good sign.

I'm not a bell pepper girl, but my husband would love these. Also, love that place mat/table cloth(??) that you have in the background!

Do you need to cook the rice before hand or do you mix it in uncooked?
