I do love me some Valentines Day!
This year it falls on a Monday that my son has off school!
Awwww
I think I will take them out to lunch and feed some lucky ducks by a lake we have near our house.
I also do a scavenger hunt for the kids. I so love watching them run around the house looking for the next clue...its much better than just handing them their gifts. Lots of little goodies, usually from the dollar bin at Target. :)

Is anyone else obsessed with garland and banners? I love them....its like a party in your house...always in celebration. lols

I love maps and I love homemade garland. Great idea. My son's room is geography themed - - fun yet educational (and he doesn't even realize that part). The Land of Nod had the nicest, most tasteful duvet cover several years ago with a map of the U.S. on it. It was great for a geography themed room and I love that it's fun and practical. The map garland will be a perfect project to add. Thanks.

I'm so in love with creative ways to upcycle paper as (lowbrow) modern art. This idea is great. I need to look out for some maps or an old atlas at half price books! Thanks so much for sharing :)
