natural history

today we drove to L.A. to the Natural History Museum.
it was awesome.
kaleb LOVES science...
to say he love science is actually an understatement....
He loves 
rocks,
shells,
fossils,
and
space.


I love him.
so he had the best time...
and all dylan kept saying was
"I like the T-Rex!"
These boys....:)


My time with the hubs being home is winding down....
and having a day with all 4 of us was awesome...

toys
trash
papers
and some more trash.


any suggestions?


I taught this child how to clean and care for himself.
he just doesn't care.
He would wear dirty clothes to school if I let him..
and on days when I don't REALLY look at what he is wearing
he has snuck some in...
sigh.....
that's just his personality...
all BOY
he tells me
"its no big deal mom"


how do you argue with that...

I have been busy
its another before and after
but this one has a lot of history
this old chair was used originally by my dad
when he was a boy
I'm assuming it was a toddler chair that was at the dinner table...
My stepbrothers and sisters and I used it when we were young
I can totally remember fighting over that chair..
:)
So now I have it and I couldn't be happier
I thought about whether or not I was gonna paint it...
maybe it wouldn't be recognizable anymore???
I dunno..
but I decided if it was gonna stay inside it needed an update
I'm glad I did. I love it...
And of course I love old things, so its charm is an added bonus!!!
I smile when I see my boys sitting in it...<3

so I took this sucker down and gave it a good spray
oh my love for spray paint!!!!
now I just gotta get the hubs to put it back up....lols
