but I did it anyway
because I love him.


and I was hopeful once I got there with a craft and movie he would be happy.

hello kitty time

I have to confess...I love hello kitty.
Not a little...but A LOT...
I loved her when I was little...and it just never went away.
So I decided to carve a Hello Kitty pumpkin...
its not perfect.
it was my first try.
but it looks so cute out on my front porch.
I love her.

Last night was the rehearsal dinner. My sister-n-law is getting married Saturday and we are ALL in the wedding. Groomsman, bridesmaid and ring bearers...all of us. 

We had a great dinner and then headed over to the church to well, rehearse.

Since my husband and I are both in the wedding we get to walk down the aisle together...just like we did when we got married...When we were practicing I couldn't help but remember the day I walked down the aisle 7 years ago.

I remember being so excited, but also a little scared of the unknown. Yet I knew whatever came my way I wanted it to happen with Aaron....I know my sister-n-law feels the same way about Tony and I cant wait to see them get married.

This is my last posting until Monday....I have a lot to do...pack, clean, pick up tuxes, get my nails done and figure out how to clear up my pizza face....lols

The color of the day is GREEN....well sort of....

My new obsession is the color green...well sort of green..
maybe its avocado...
or pistachio...
perhaps mint...
I dunno, but basically I love it....

Popcorn Kernel Filler

Well its raining here in my neck of the woods......so being kept inside was dangerous because I began looking around the house to see what my next project could be.....my husband just loves that about me....lols


Well I remembered when I was teaching I would use popcorn kernels in my lessons and scoop them into a jar as a class reward....so I thought why not as filler in my footed vases....and you know what? 


I love it!!! Its cheap and easy...which is totally me.....:)

5 Dollar Halloween Wreath

I have been seeing everyones' really cool wreaths for their door online....some made from book pages, balloons and coffee filters...I love them...its true...so in a late night "great idea" I drove down to the dollar store and spent $5 on a few supplies and whipped myself up one....I already had the burlap and Halloween lace that I got as remnants at Joanns....

This what I bought from the Dollar Store..

Wrap the moss roll around the wreath using the hot glue gun every few inches..

cute....but messy...lols

I cut my fabric into circles...

I scrunched up my fabric and put a glob of glue in the middle...

There ya go...

Glue your halloween goodie in the middle and attach to your wreath...

All done....so cute...and only 5 bucks...

Ok, so when we bought our townhome their were a lot of things I learned. Like stuff takes freakin' forever to do!!

So after hours and weeks of cleaning I realized our grout sucks. Whether its because it isn't sealed or wasnt done right I dont know....all I know is that no matter what I did it looked dirty...which bothers me. A LOT!!!! :)

So after wandering around Lowes I found a little bottle of goodness called Grout Refresh .....
You basically apply this thin white toothpaste stuff on your grout with an old toothbruch and let it dry for an hour...then spray with water and wipe off the paste than smeared onto the tile....it was super easy and made my tile look so much better! I "refreshed" the tile in my bathroom downstairs and my entry tile....LOVE IT!!
